Vermont has a long history of supporting our communities and families through initiatives such as pushing for a true livable wage. The 2014 minimum wage increase and the 2016 earn sick days victories were a start to building a more sustainable future for the generations to come. But now is the time to take bold actions and raise the wage higher to bring our families, communities and the state into a stronger economic position.

The goal of this effort is to pass legislation in 2020 to bring us to a $15/hour minimum wage by 2024. This legislation will only pass if we create a political mandate through grassroots organizing, public education and events, as well as voter and candidate engagement.

Join us today in creating a stronger economy which will enhance the well-being of Vermont’s families and communities and provide a more sustainable future for the generations to come.
